Facilities Management Engineer - Ref:MH

Job Summary:

The Facilities Operations Manager will develop and implement programmes to maintain buildings, equipment, and ground systems. This role includes creating preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure that all systems and equipment are operated safely and efficiently. The manager will oversee work plans, review performance targets, and coordinate with project consultants, contractors, and government authorities on construction projects and facility improvements. Additionally, the role involves leading a team to manage service requests, perform preventive maintenance, repair breakdowns, generate reports, and support various facility-related projects and assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development:

Develop and implement program for maintaining building, equipment, and ground systems.

Establish and direct procedures for safe and efficient facility and system operations.

• Technical Assistance:

Provide technical support to administrators and staff in defining and evaluating engineering requirements.

• Work Plan Monitoring:

Monitor and support work plans to ensure alignment with the Hospital’s mission and quality commitments.

• Construction Coordination:

Coordinate construction projects with contractors, architects, engineers, and appropriate government authorities.

• Service Monitoring:

Monitor contracted services for repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure cost effectiveness and quality.

• Team Leadership:

Lead a team to manage facilities service requests, coordinate preventive maintenance, and address repair breakdowns.

Track and coordinate with stakeholders and departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Reporting and Analysis:

Generate and analyze reports related to facility maintenance and operations.

Assist in routine facility maintenance projects and other related assignments.
 

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Marine Engineering with preferably 3 years’ relevant experience
• Proficient in design calculation, cost estimation, preparation of plans and detailed engineering design
