ID:\n\nJR93870 Facilities Tool Install Technician (Evergreen)\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nMain Responsibilities: \n\n * Coordinate with all tool-install contractors to execute equipment hookup for new, conversion, unhooking and relocation tools, to meet high quality standard, dynamic schedule and forecasted budget\n\n\n\n\n * Coordinate with Fab equipment owner to facilitate utilities release as per planned schedule, and update tool release status timely\n\n\n\n\n * Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with EHS related regulations, risk assessment, safe work procedures and permit to work system\n\n\n\n\n * Play an active role in safety, actively participating in safety discussion, training and safe work practices\n\n\n\n\n * Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improved safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and efficiency\n\n\n\n\n * Establish regular, working interaction with peers as well as vendor involved in tool installation communicating clearly and respectfully all relevant information\n\n\n\n\n * Keep Supervisor informed regarding progress of assigned work as well as any abnormalities observed in your area\n\n\n\n\n * Demonstrate ability to understand drawing and highlighting discrepancies\n\n\n\n\n * Follow area-specific procedures and documentation\n\n\n\n\n * Prioritize work tasks to meet schedule and expectation with minimum guidance\n\n\n\n\n * Perform tool related utilities and cleanroom systems troubleshooting\n\n\n\n\n * To perform utilities turn-on after installation completion\n\n\n\n\n * To perform test and balancing of Exhaust for manufacturing tools whenever necessary\n\n\n\n\n * To perform measurement of utilities for tool consumption\n\n\n\n\n * Use methods to organize, calculate, and display data accurately for utilities tracking and flowrate measurement\n\n\n\n\n * Perform site activities in accordance to Facilities Discipline\n\n\n\n\nJob Requirements, Qualifications/Experience: \n\n * Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical engineering or equivalent.\n\n\n\n\n * Semiconductor and Cleanroom experience.\n\n\n\n\n * Facilities field or Wafer Fab Manufacturing equipment background will be an advantage.\n\n\n\n\n * Embody Micron\u2019s core values:\n\n\n\n\n * People \u2013 Respect, develop, and empower others \n\n\n\n\n * Innovation \u2013 Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking \n\n\n\n\n * Tenacity \u2013 Show grit and determination \n\n\n\n\n * Collaboration \u2013 Build trust and foster teamwork \n\n\n\n\n * Customer Focus \u2013 Deliver excellence and value \n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nFacilities Tech 1 - Facilities Tech 4\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
