Facultative Broker (Facultative)

Location: Shenton Way

We are seeking a motivated Broker to manage facultative reinsurance accounts and support business growth in Southeast Asia. This role offers exposure to international markets, client leadership, and clear progression opportunities — including mentoring juniorstaff and succession into senior responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention
• Acquire new clients through market development and networking
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Conduct client research and analysis to design optimal reinsurance solutions
• Manage day‑to‑day account tasks, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to support business strategy
• Prepare reports and account reviews for senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
• 5–7 years’ experience in reinsurance broking or underwriting
• Solid understanding of international reinsurance markets, especially Southeast Asia
• Proven ability to manage facultative accounts effectively
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Leadership potential with interest in mentoring and succession responsibilities
