ID:\n\nJR90081 FE MATERIALS SUPPLIER MANAGER\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCategory Management \u0026 Strategic Sourcing\n\n * Monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers.\n * Analyze sourcing needs and make recommendations to stakeholders for assigned categories.\n * Identify local and regional supplier opportunities to assist with the category strategies\n * Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and internal partners.\n * Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories\n\n\n\nCost Management \u0026 Analysis\n\n * Identify and evaluate category-specific savings opportunities\n * Monitor and enforce the implementation of sourcing strategies\n * Drive cost savings monitoring and metrics achievement\n * Implement cost savings and process improvement programs\n\n\n\nNegotiation\n\n * Lead negotiation with suppliers to meet business needs\n * Lead regional sourcing events/RFQ process and provide inputs for category management plans\n\n\n\nBusiness Partnering\n\n * Collaborate with Stakeholders to deliver Strategic and Alternate Source enablement\n * Drive customer-centric approach to solve supply issues\n * Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships to enhance cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.\n\n\n\nProcess Improvement\n\n * Identify automation opportunities and develop scalable AI solutions that become building blocks for future projects.\n\n\n\nThis is an individual contributor role.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.\n * 0-3 years of experience in supplier management.\n * Experience in using data analytical tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, Robotic Process Automation) preferred.\n * Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate.\n * Comfortable with cost tracking and proven negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.\n * Ability to manage interpersonal relationships and effectively drive business needs.\n * Self-motivated and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment with dynamic supply chain challenges.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nBuyer 1 - Buyer 2\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
