Position Overview: We are hiring a Field Application Specialist (FAS) to serve as our premier scientific liaison. You will be the technical and scientific authority in our early sales cycle. Partnering with our commercial team, you will engage directly with highly educated doctors, principal investigators, and clinical lab directors. Your mission is to actively listen to their research or diagnostic bottlenecks and map those challenges directly to AITbiotech’s sequencing and diagnostic workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Scientific Consultation: Act as the subject matter expert on AITbiotech platforms (abONE, abSEQ, abNEX) during pre-salesdiscussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in clinical and research settings.
Technical Presentations: Design and deliverhigh-level scientific seminars, product demonstrations, and data presentations tailored to PhDs and MDs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the "Voice of the Scientist" by translating customer feedback into actionable market intelligence for our internal R&D and Product Development teams.
Post-Sale Advocacy: Provide high-level troubleshooting and application support to ensure customers successfully integrate our technology, fostering long-term scientific partnerships.
Requirements:
Education: Ph.D. (preferred) or a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Genetics, Clinical Diagnostics, or a closely related field.
Technical Expertise: 1–3 years of deep, hands-on bench experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), PCR, DNA/RNAextraction, and molecular diagnostic workflows.
Psychological Acumen: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to read the room, empathize with customer frustrations, and build instant credibility with clinical and scientific authorities.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; possessing the rare ability to translate complex molecular data into compelling, easy-to-understand solutions without relying on excessive jargon.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Approaches customer interactions with a hypothesis-driven mindset, diagnosing workflow pain points just as one would a scientific experiment.
Drive & Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environment and is comfortable taking initiative during a rapid corporate expansion.
