Finance & HR Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Finance & HR Manager to support a small MAS-regulated financial institution .

This is a sole-contributor role covering Finance & Accounting (including bookkeeping), HR generalist duties and office administration .

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

1. Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and full sets of accounts .
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
3. Manage month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and journal entries.
4. Handle AP, AR, invoicing, payments, cash flow and banking matters.
5. Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports.
6. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents and other external parties.
7. Handle relevant tax, statutory and regulatory reporting.
8. Ensure proper financial controls and accurate accounting records.

HR & Administration

1. Handle the full spectrum of HR generalist matters .
2. Manage payroll, employee records, benefits and HR documentation.
3. Support recruitment, onboarding and employee-related matters.
4. Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment requirements.
5. Manage general office administration and day-to-day operational matters.
6. Liaise with vendors, corporate secretaries and other service providers.
7. Support management on ad-hoc projects and process improvements.

Requirements

1. Experience handling full sets of accounts and bookkeeping .
2. Good understanding of general Finance and Accounting matters.
3. Exposure to HR generalist and office administration is preferred.
4. Comfortable working independently as a sole contributor .
5. Experience in financial services, trust or other regulated environments is an advantage.
6. Knowledge or exposure to MAS regulatory requirements is an added advantage.
7. Hands-on, organised and able to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
