Finance Assistant - Leading Industry Pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer purchase orders, invoices and chasing for payments.
• Prepare and manage supplier payments for Malaysia and Singapore Companies.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation for Malaysia and Singapore Companies.
• Review and perform GST reporting for Singapore Companies.
• Provide support in preparing and maintaining the relevant documentation for external accountants.
• Lead, guide and interact with the administrative staff to perform their daily functions efficiently.
• Provide administrative support to Finance Manager.
• Assist Finance Manager to improve on the Company’s administrative workflow with new/existing software.
• Develop strong working relationships with senior management and administrative personnel for effective and smooth operations.

CAREER PROGRESSION

• Guidance by Finance Manager and attend Company sponsored training courses for progression to similar role.
• Scope of work will gradually be progressed to reviewing and managing the Company’s administration and finance matters.
• Stable, family-oriented environment with the support of experienced colleagues whom majority have been with the Company more than 10 years.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates with at least two (2) years in similar administrative position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to communicate with basic English.
• Knowledge of Autocount and/or Quickbooks Accounting Software will be advantageous.
• Positive and willing to learn attitude.
