About Our Client

Our client is a reputable investment manager with multi strategy portfolio and is rapidly ramping up their headcounts and operations in Singapore office.

Job Description
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations (AP, AR, GL).
• Ability to work with business stakeholders on charge codes, invoice clarifications, and company policy guidance.
• Experienced with consolidation accounting.
• Review month-end reporting packages from overseas bookkeepers (external).
• Review payments prepared by the AP team.
• Prepare/review of bank reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of indirect taxes (VAT/GST/SST) across relevant jurisdictions.
• Prepare/review regulatory and compliance reporting for licensed entities and ensure timely submissions.
• Prepare/review corporate and indirect tax filings.
• Manage annual audits, liaise with external auditors, and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Support business needs, including license applications and new entity setups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Autocount Accounting system and SAP-Concur system is a plus.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller should have:

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services industry and alternative asset management industry.
• Versatile and adaptable to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Able to balance BAU responsibilities with system implementation and ad-hoc tasks.
• Strong project and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities across time zones.
