Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable functions
- Monthly submission to HDB on S&CC Arrears
- Preparation of arrears report for Finance & Town Council meeting
- Review GIRO and RCSS application
- Review on residents' refund/penalty waiver
- Review on AR adjustment and transfer
- Review on HDB collection on behalf
- Review Town Council collections on behalf on behalf of HDB
- To furnish S&CC rates to HDB as per request
- Review of Mass collection/mass legal action - NODs & prosecution
- Liaise with HCL and Toppan on mailing of monthly notices to residents and final notice
- Updating of adjusting journals and year end journals
- Involve in AR year end activities like writing of outstanding arrears in terminated and active accounts
- Preparing Audit schedules and liaise with external auditors during yearly audits
- Follow up on auditors' recommendations and implementing of control measures in day to day operations to reduce any internal control weakness
- Being accountable for all adjusting entries to TOL income
- To be involved in Property Tax Audit
People Management and customer relations:
- Attending to verbal and written enquiries from residents and commericals owners/tenants cashier's duty rostering
- Other Aspects
- Furnish quotation number and follow ups with requestor
- Preparation of Finance Committee meeting and Town Council meeting powerpoint slides
- Quotation for printing SOA, Notices, General Insurance, Financial auditor
- Yearly house-keeping and performing petty cash count to enhance internal control
- Any adhoc duties as assigned by the management
