Finance Manager

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance team at Cone Marshall Asia as a Finance Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the full set of accounts and daily financial operations for the Asia offices.
2. Prepare financial statements and monthly reports, coordinating with headquarters for group reporting.
3. Analyse financial performance and provide insights to the group finance team.
4. Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning, including monthly operational reviews.
5. Ensure effective cash flow management, including debt collection and billing.
6. Evaluate and implement robust internal controls and efficient accounting processes.
7. Liaise with tax authorities and support external audit processes for HK and SG entities, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and responses to audit and tax queries.
8. Handle employer payroll obligations across HK and SG entities - including IRD (HK) employer returns, monthly salaries, MPF contributions (HK), and CPF and SDL contributions (SG).
9. Support Singapore statutory compliance - including IRAS ECI and Form C-S/C corporate tax filings, IR8A annual employment income reporting, and IR21 tax clearance (where applicable).
10. Support ACRA annual return filings, AGM coordination, and corporate secretarial matters for Singapore entities, leveraging ACRA Registered Qualified Individual (RQI) status.
11. Manage bank accounts, consultancy invoices, and the fixed asset register, including depreciation journal entries.
12. Perform BC accounting tasks on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including bank transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
13. Review work-in-progress (WIP) reports with Business Managers and the billing team.

What we're looking for

1. Chartered Accountant of Singapore
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar finance role
3. Thorough understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
5. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a finance team
6. Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools, ideally Business Central
