Finance Manager (MEDs Interconnect) - Join a Market Leader

This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will assist to perform management accounting duties and support the business partnering functions. 

1. Management Accounting Duties:

• Implement systems, processes, and finance policies in new business unit.
• Prepare financial and management reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Perform variance analysis and standard cost setting.
• Prepare project ROI and other sensitivity analysis.
• Oversee and analyse all operational costs, identify opportunities for cost efficiency, process and system enhancement.
• Challenge operations team on sales forecast by developing a deep understanding of the business operations, market environment and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
• Prepare monthly management report with commentaries explaining variances between actuals, forecast and budget.
• Collaborate with business operations in support of pricing, costing and quotation process.
• Oversee & process transactions pertaining to AP, AR, claims, etc. 
• Arrange yearly audit.
• Liaise with banks on all finance related matters
• Perform any other work assigned by the management for the company

2. Business Partnering:

As part of the management team, you are an integral part of the business unit that will: 

• Drive business strategies and financial performance.
• Drive operational efficiency.
• Evaluate business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Finance
• Professional qualifications like CPA/CFA or equivalent will be considered a plus
• At least 10 years of experience preferably in Commercial / Manufacturing industries. Past experience as a financial analyst is an added advantage.
