About Our Client
Our client is a globally established private equity and venture capital investment firm and they are looking to appoint a high-calibre Finance Manager to support the financial operations of its Group Holding Company. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and CFO, this is a strategic and hands-on role with broad exposure across financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, compliance, and finance transformation initiatives within a sophisticated investment platform.
Job Description
Prepare, review, and analyse consolidated and statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting exercises, and monthly management reporting
Deliver insightful financial analysis, variance commentary, and strategic recommendations to senior management
Manage treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding arrangements across group entities and portfolio companies
Serve as the key liaison for external and internal audits, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of all audit requirements
Oversee tax compliance matters including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes in coordination with external advisors and regulatory authorities
Support investment-related activities including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and post-investment portfolio monitoring
Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls, reporting infrastructure, and automation initiatives
Partner with the CFO and Finance Director on board reporting, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analyses
The Successful Applicant
At least 5 years of relevant experience, including experience within a Big 4 accounting firm
Qualified or near-qualified CPA, ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent professional accounting designation
Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, IFRS, and core tax principles
Experience working within or alongside a group holding company structure
Prior exposure to private equity, venture capital, family offices, or multi-asset investment platforms is advantageous
Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, self-motivated, and open-minded, with a genuine interest in improving processes and challenging conventional approaches
