Finance Manager - Product Control Wealth Management

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its Wealth Management division in Singapore. This is a senior individual contributor role with visibility across the front-to-back finance function, offering ownership of product control responsibilities within a complex, multi-asset wealth platform.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Finance for the Wealth Management business, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the integrity of daily P&L production and validation across the wealth product suite. The role sits at the intersection of finance, front office, and operations, requiring strong technical accounting capability alongside the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders across the business.

This is a high-impact position suited to a candidate who is analytically rigorous, commercially aware, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, globally connected environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Own daily P&L production, attribution, and sign-off across wealth management product lines including equities, fixed income, structured products, and managed portfolios
2. Perform independent price verification (IPV) and fair value adjustments across asset classes
3. Investigate and resolve P&L queries from front office traders, portfolio managers, and senior management in a timely and accurate manner
4. Partner with risk, operations, and technology teams on month-end close, balance sheet substantiation, and regulatory reporting inputs
5. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives within the product control function
6. Support new product approval processes from a finance and product control perspective
7. Provide analysis and commentary on financial performance for senior stakeholder reporting and management information packs
8. Liaise with internal audit and external auditors on finance-related matters

Candidate profile

1. Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, CA, or CFA preferred
2. 10+ years of Wealth Management product control or financial and management reporting experience within a global investment bank or financial institution
3. Strong working knowledge of wealth management products — equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, and discretionary/advisory mandates
4. Proven P&L production and IPV experience across multiple asset classes
5. Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards as applied to financial instruments
6. Experience with front-to-back system flows; familiarity with Murex, Calypso, Charles River, or equivalent platforms advantageous
7. Confident communicator with the ability to present financial analysis clearly to non-finance audiences
8. Experience in a Singapore-based or APAC-facing role is preferred
