Job description
- Prepare timely financial statements and management reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in financial forecasts and budgets, including cash flow forecast
- Review accounting reports including bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules
- Manage and liaise with accounting system vendors to troubleshoot issues, streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Collaborate with other departments to conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and liaise with stakeholders including regulators, auditors, management and audit committee
- Ensure timely billing, payments and processing of all accounting transactions
- Ensure that financial policies and procedures are complied with; especially those relating to purchasing policy
- Any other task as assigned by Management
Job Requirement
- Recognised Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Conversant with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with accounting software; preferably Microsoft (MS) Business Central or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Excel skills; advanced skill including Vlookups and macros is advantageous
