Finance Supervisor - Retail Industry Background - Urgent

• Monday - Friday: 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM
• Location: Mountbatten
• AWS + VB
• Short notice period preferred
• Able to commit to OT 

Our Client is the world's largest Furniture Manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising the finance team and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities from start to finish
•  Managing daily accounting tasks and completing month-end closing procedures 
• Preparing audit schedules, managing year-end audits, and coordinating with auditors and tax advisors 
• Assisting in budget preparation, conducting quarterly reforecasting, and providing monthly estimates 
• Taking on ad hoc projects and assignments as they arise
• Handle full set of accounts.
• Submitting of GST and annual tax filings

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or a similar qualification, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. 
• They should demonstrate strong technical accounting abilities.
• Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, and solid PC skills, including MS Excel, Access, and Word. Advanced Excel skills would be beneficial.
• Possess 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Possess Retail business experience
• Familiarity with third-party vendor receipts, such as Mastercard, Visa, Amex, and FavePay
• Understanding of accounting practices related to retail marketing
• Knowledgeable about GST tax compliance
• Able to commit to OT due to project.
