Financial Accountant (6 Months Contract) - Competitive Pay

Contract duration: 6 months

Salary: $4000

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

Location: Orchard

Responsibilities:

• Manage month end closing including review and commentaries for financial statements and management reports
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and commentaries
• Prepare monthly cashflow reports and variance analysis
• Support in preparation of budget and forecast
• Review and submission of GST reports
• Liaise with external auditor in statutory audit and ensure compliance of statutory reporting
• Liaise with corporate secretary and manage corporate secretarial matters
• Liaise with tax agent in company income tax matters
• Assist in finance daily operations including liaise with various internal and external parties on finance related matters
• Any other duties assigned by the management from time to time



Key competencies

• Degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity in retail/FMCG industry
• Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and controls
• Hands-on, analytical, accurate and meticulous
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Positive attitude, independent, self-starter, detail oriented, good communication skills, strong team player and able to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Excel and experience in SAP will be an added advantage
