Financial Analyst Costing/Gross Margin (World Wide Operations)

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our world-class finance team. This role under World-Wide Operations Costing/Gross Margin will support financial and planning activities, including actual reporting, forecasting, and business analysis activities for a Semiconductor Business Group. The person coming into this role will partner with the business segments to enable actionable analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with working on End of Quarter Close requirements, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and forecast deliverables related to regular business cycles.\n\nMajor Responsibilities\n\n * Performs analysis on built material costs to ensure correct tool valuation compared to Bill of Materials \u0026 reconciles weekly\n\n * Analyzes Production Order Material Variances \u0026 communicates with Operations to resolve issues identified during variance analysis\n\n * Provides support to World-Wide Operations teams to resolve systemic issues related to Finance attributes which prevent transactions from processing\n\n * Completes detailed requirements for monthly / quarterly close processes including Work In Progress, Finished Goods, Deferred and Eval Inventory \n\n * Performs Financial Modeling and Analysis to support Gross Margin reporting for finance executives\n\n * Leads Aged WIP Inventory Reviews \u0026 Provides reserve analysis\n\n * Leads Balance Sheet Review Meetings with Finance Controllers\n\n * Interacts as a direct business partner with business unit executives, delivering analysis and recommendations to guide operational and financial decisions\n\n * Participates in team discussions for system integration and process improvement initiatives and execution of those projects (UAT Testing)\n\n * Partner with GIS and with other business areas to enable implementation of new reporting systems and processes\n\n * Works closely with internal auditors to address SOX requirements\n\n\n\n\nQualifications \u0026 Preferences\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree (Finance, Accounting, or Business-related degree preferred)\n\n * 2-3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting for a reputable firm\n\n * Strong analytical \u0026 financial modeling skills\n\n * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel\n\n * Attention to detail.
