Financial Controller International Wealth Management & PB

A leading global investment bank with a significant and fast-growing International Wealth Management division, serving a UHNW and family office client base across Asia and beyond. The Singapore office operates at the centre of that growth story with a broadening product suite spanning custody, Lombard lending, structured products and trust services, and a clear mandate to continue building out its wealth platform.

The Role

A newly created opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the financial control function for a high-growth IWM business in Singapore. You will act as the primary finance partner to the IWM leadership team, providing rigorous oversight of P&L, financial reporting and business performance, while helping to shape the control infrastructure as the platform continues to scale.

This is a high-visibility role with direct access to senior stakeholders across Finance, Global Markets and the IWM front office, and genuine scope to make it your own.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the end-to-end P&L reporting and financial control framework for the IWM Singapore business
2. Partner with front office leadership and the broader regional Finance COO function on financial performance, budgeting and forecasting
3. Oversee product control across the wealth management product suite including structured products, fixed income, FX and Lombard facilities
4. Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in line with IFRS and internal governance standards
5. Lead regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, liaising with MAS and external auditors as required
6. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across the finance function
7. Provide commercial insight and analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning
8. Manage and develop a small team of finance professionals

Profile

1. Qualified accountant (CPA, CA or equivalent) with a strong academic background
2. 15 or more years of experience in financial control, product control or finance business partnering within a bank, private bank or wealth manager
3. Solid understanding of wealth management products, booking structures and associated P&L drivers
4. Experience operating within a global matrix organisation and engaging with senior stakeholders
5. Strong command of IFRS, MAS regulatory reporting requirements and internal governance frameworks
6. A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to operate at both a strategic and detailed level
7. Prior exposure to a scaling or transformation environment is advantageous
