Job Description - Financial Project Manager

Description:

This role is responsible for providing analytical support and help run a smooth day-to-day functioning of Project Portfolio, Financials and Workforce along with Business Support and Technology team with sufficient resources and deliver timely output, support portfolio governance routines, stakeholder reporting and meet the dynamic requirements expected from reginal stakeholders.

  • Interactions daily with all levels of the organization, reviewing and gaining feedback on:
    • Project / Portfolio Updates for Governance routines.
  • Expense management through Resource changes, on-boarding, off-boarding, reporting and metrics as well as reconciliation with overall APAC Technology organization reports.
  • General ad hoc requests as needed for executive level meetings, business presentations, corporate communications, etc.
  • Organizational metrics
  • Communicate with respective country technology leads, technology project managers and prepare reports on a timely basis.
  • Bi-weekly, Monthly and quarterly management reporting including Project portfolio governance, financials, headcount, operational activities.
  • Work with the country technology executive on developing their forecasts (resources, budget)
  • Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and reconciliation.
  • Business Support Activities on Requisitions, HC, Seats review and management.
  • Strong financial experience with forecasting and financial analysis in a technology context
  • Ability to manage multiple financial priorities simultaneously
  • Financial project management / technology background
  • Analytical experience – ability to make sense of data from multiple sources, and put into views for Executive consumption
  • Skilled experience with Microsoft Office suite, with a particular proficiency on Excel, good command of Tableau is a plus
  • Highly organized and motivated self-starter and quick learner
  • Attention to details, problem solving skills
  • Good level of understanding of financial requirements and overlap between Asia jurisdictions US jurisdiction
  • Understanding of various phases of software project and relation to resourcingfinancial aspects
  • Knowledge of expenses and charge back
  • Stakeholder managing and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Tableau report and Sharepoint development is a plus
