Little Artists Art Studio Pte Ltd is a premier art studio established since 1997 and currently runs its programs at two branches with off shore operations of art camps and many more with the reason of spreading its wings globally. The studio is known for providing high quality art education to children and inspiring creativity in them. Our major demographic consists of students starting from 2.5 years to 17 years.

Our students are regularly selected for good art / design / architecture colleges Globally and for SOTA (Singapore School of The Arts)/LaSalle/NAFA/DSA in Singapore. In its expansion phase, the group is seeking dynamic and experienced Fine Art Educators to join and lead the team. Those with a passion to nurture and teach art to children of all ages thrive in this creative environment.

Who are we looking for - 

We are looking for a creative & passionate senior fine art teacher to join our team of seasoned educators. The art teacher's responsibilities include teaching art classes, preparing lessons, providing developmentally appropriate instruction on art techniques, and supervisor a team of other art teacher. You should also be able to supervise lessons to ensure that learners interact in a supportive and respectful manner. You should be able to encourage creativity and self-expression among students in addition to providing them appropriate technical skills.

You should be able to -

• Create positive and cheerful classroom environment that is conducive for learning
• Teach Fine Art to children (sketching, painting and sculpture) in an engaging and creative manner
• Demonstrate and assist students to use different techniques of art work aligned to their artistic abilities
• Designing and formulation of student centric innovative curriculum and lesson plans
• Teach students to apply elements of design and modern principles of art
• Plan, coordinate an prepare art displays and exhibitions for the school and community
• Good communication skills - To be able to engage and communicate effectively with children, parents and fellow teachers
• Guide the teachers efficiently, as per the studio curriculum/lesson plan and teaching standards, while tracking progress of the studio and providing timely feedback to the team members

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Fine Arts, Design or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in teaching fine art to students in a Middle/High school, studio or equivalent capacity
• Team spirited and passionate about working with children (3 years to 17 years)
• Strong foundation in classroom management
• Cheerful, honest, team player with the ability to take initiative and open to learn from Senior Teachers
• Required Language: English (Knowledge of additional language will be a bonus
• Preference will be given to teachers with IGCSE,IB,MYP experience
