Fire Protection Engineer (Facilities) - Innovative Company

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fire protection team (consisting of 1 Assistant Engineer, 3 Technical Officers & 4 workers)
• Develop and implement fire protection strategies, standards, and policies in line with industry regulations.
• Create fire protection plans by working closely with other departments and contractors
• Design and execute fire safety training programs for facility staff and workers.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance.
• Stay abreast of developments in fire protection systems, codes, and standards. Ensure the team remains updated on best practices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, fire departments, and other stakeholders to guarantee compliance with codes and regulations.
• Provide technical support to project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems & also to ensure all fire protection systems are in good working condition
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing regular reports to the Director of Facilities Management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facilities, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Preferably with a minimum of 3 or 5 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on fire protection.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, principles, codes, and standards is advantageous.
• Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
