Food & Consumer Education Laboratory Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, materials and equipment for Food and Nutrition practical lessons.
• Portion and distribute ingredients according to lesson requirements.
• Clean and maintain food studios, preparation rooms, sinks, stoves, utensils and equipment.
• Purchase and check teaching materials, ingredients and supplies.
• Verify deliveries against invoices and maintain records of purchases.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct stocktakes and replenish supplies when required.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facilities.
• Carry out periodic deep cleaning of work areas, cupboards and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification with basic Mathematics knowledge.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Positive attitude and initiative.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks under tight schedules.

Duration/Working Hours: 

9 months - subj to extension of 9 months (Jan 2027 to Oct 2027) 

Mondays to Fridays: 7.30am to 3.30pm , inclusive of 1 hr lunch break,
excluding weekends and PH. 40 Working Hours 
The candidate might be required to work beyond these hours on certain days .There will be NO overtime pay on such occasions, but Off in Lieu can
be claimed.
