Food Lab Assistant

Job Description:

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Food Laboratory.
• Prepare ingredients and materials for Food &Nutrition practical lessons.
• Clean and maintain food lab equipment, appliances, and workstations.
• Monitor and replenish food supplies, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory of food lab items.
• Label, organize, and maintain food storage areas and equipment.
• Support Food & Nutrition practical lessons and afternoon cooking programmes.
• Assist in school events and activities involving the Food Laboratory.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized learning environment for students.

Requirements:

• Basic certification in Food Preparation and Food Safety.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in culinary, food preparation, or a related field.
• Experience in inventory, store management, and stock organization.
• Able to work independently and maintain a clean, safe, and organized food laboratory
