Job Description - Forensic Investigations and Litigation Support, Senior Associate to Assistant Manager

Job Description

KPMG's Forensic practice consists of professionals with a wealth of experience in forensic investigations and disputes. KPMG has provided investigation and litigation support services for some of the world's biggest companies and some of the most important matters of public interest in Singapore.

KPMG's Forensic team comprises professionals with extensive experience in Forensic Services that include Investigations, Fraud Risk Management, Dispute Advisory, and Regulatory and Contract Compliance. Our diverse team of professionals help our clients prevent, detect and respond to risks through use of well-defined methodologies, innovative solutions and understanding of regulatory landscape.

We invite highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our fast paced and growing practice. You will work with a diverse team of forensic professionals, data analytics specialists, forensic technology specialists, lawyers, and corporate partners.

The role involves:
  • Planning investigations (including determining the investigative approach and investigation timelines) with the Engagement Manager;
  • Review of documents and devices as part of investigation procedures;
  • Preparing for and conducting investigative interviews;
  • Providing guidance and having oversight of junior engagement team members;
  • Progressing investigations with stakeholders (including other internal service lines) and reporting to the Engagement Manager; and
  • Assistance with drafting of investigations / expert witness report.
The candidate should possess:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Fraud Investigation, Audit, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Market Misconduct, Internal Audit, Data Analytics, Computer Forensics in a legal or law enforcement, government investigation agencies, or professional services firm.
  • Bachelor's degree holder in accounting, computer science, software engineering or related degrees
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Team player with strong communication, analytical and report writing skills. You should be comfortable presenting your findings to your colleagues and clients in an interactive manner.
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills;
  • Continuous desire to learn and grow.
  • Ideally, you have professional qualifications such as Association of Certified Fraud Examiners or ISCA Financial Forensic Professional.
