Job Description - Franchise Business Development Manager - Fast Hire

Franchise Business Development Manager plays a critical role in expanding our brand through strategic franchise partnerships. This role involves prospecting, identifying, recruiting and supporting potential franchisees, ensuring their alignment with our brand values and standards. 

 

JOB FUNCTION  AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and execute a strategic plan for franchise recruitment, targeting suitable candidates who align with our brand vision and values. 
  2. Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to contract signing, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for new franchisees. 
  3. Assist in conducting thorough due diligence on potential franchisees, including financial viability, operational capability, and cultural fit.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive training programs for new franchisees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  5. Monitor and evaluate franchisee performance, providing ongoing support and guidance to drive operational excellence and business growth. 
  6. Oversee the implementation and adherence to operational systems and standards across all franchise locations, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
  7. Act as a liaison between franchisees and corporate headquarters, facilitating communication and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, incorporating relevant insights into our franchise recruitment and system excellence strategies.
  9. Travel to various locations as needed to support franchisees and conduct site visits to assess operational performance and compliance.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in franchise recruitment and management, preferably within the F&B industry.
  • Strong understanding of franchise operations, including sales, marketing, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and onboarding franchisees, with a focus on quality and alignment with brand standards.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
