Freight Planning Executive

The incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the movement of air cargo shipments and freight planning activities to ensure space and cost optimization. The incumbent works closely with airlines, agents, customers, carriers, and internal teams to optimize shipment planning while maintaining high service standards

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the movement of air cargo shipments from origin to destination.
• Book cargo space with airlines and negotiate freight rates where applicable.
• Develop and implement routing and scheduling plans to optimize delivery times and costs.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
• To plan at consolidating shipments and optimize loose shipments with the objective of increasing revenue per consolidation and shipment.
• Plan BUP loads for space optimization.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time departure, shipment accuracy, and customer service levels.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Other duties as assigned
