Seeking a reliable and caring Front Desk Receptionist to provide temporary coverage at our primary school. The role involves managing the front desk, attending to visitors and phone enquiries, supporting student care, and ensuring smooth daily operations during staff absence or peak periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front desk operations, including visitor reception, phone calls, and enquiries.
Provide basic first aid and student care while following school procedures.
Monitor students awaiting parental collection or further assistance.
Communicate professionally with parents, students, staff, and stakeholders.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Support basic administrative and general office duties.
Requirements:
Diploma holder or equivalent.
Experience in receptionist, customer service, or front-line roles preferred.
Comfortable working with children aged 7–12 years.
Calm, patient, empathetic, and able to manage challenging situations.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow procedures with minimal supervision.
Basic proficiency in office systems (phone, email, record-keeping).
First Aid certification (Standard or Child) is an advantage.
8 months contract (Mar 2926 to Nov 2026)
Monday to Friday: 6:30AM to 3:30PM (inclusive of 1-hour lunch)
