Fund / Asset Management Audit Manager

My client, a big 4 accounting firm in Singapore, is now looking for fund / asset management audit manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
2. Monitor the assurance team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed
3. Understand the audit client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the audit client.
4. Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.
5. Understand the client’s issues and manage the expectations of different stakeholders by translating expectations into quality & balanced output/deliverables
6. Address client needs by bringing relevant expertise from the firm to client discussions, while also converting service opportunities into proposals/business.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Obtained CPA Singapore qualification or other professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI, CPA Australia, CA ANZ, CICA, AICPA, CIMA
3. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of commercial issues facing businesses in this sector
5. Effective day-to-day management of clients; building and maintaining client relationships is crucial
