Fundraising Director

• Role Summary: The Fundraising Director will lead the company’s capital-raising strategy. You are responsible for identifying investment opportunities, building relationships with venture capitalists, family offices, and private investors, and ensuring the company meets its financial growth milestones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising roadmaps for seed, Series A, or project-specific capital raises to meet financial growth targets
• Source, pitch, and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and strategic partners to secure investment commitments
• Lead the creation of pitch decks, financial models, valuation reports, and investment memos to effectively communicate investment opportunities
• Manage the due diligence process by organizing corporate, legal, and financial data to ensure investor readiness
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and financing environment changes to inform the CEO and adjust fundraising strategies accordingly

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, venture capital, or a related fundraising role
• Proven track record of successfully raising capital, with ability to share deal sizes and outcomes
• Expertise in building complex financial models such as DCF and CAPM, and crafting compelling investment narratives
• Strong network within the Singapore and regional financial and investor ecosystem
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills combined with high business acumen

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• CPA, CFA, or MBA certification preferred
