FX Product Manager - Private Bank

The role is responsible for managing the private banking FX product and advisory platform, owning the FX P&L, and supporting the Structured Products business. The role includes leading FX-related projects, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring strong control, compliance, and operational efficiency across the platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Advisory

• Deliver trade ideas using research, market feedback, and existing positions.
• Drive investment themes and provide clear market direction to frontline teams.
• Handle client FX requests with tailored solutions.
• Train and support Client Advisors on FX knowledge.
• Act as the in-house FX expert.

Product Platform

• Ensure access to a full range of FX offerings.
• Manage relationships with FX counterparties and market players.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee platform setup, accuracy, and functionality.
• Work with internal teams on MIS, reporting, and platform enhancements.
• Keep platform and processes robust, efficient, and well-controlled.

Sales & Communication

• Share FX trade ideas, market insights, and sales tools with RMs and investment consultants.
• Contribute to internal/external publications and develop marketing materials.
• Make timely market calls to help the frontline manage client positions.

Project Ownership

• Lead all FX-related projects end-to-end, including system changes and process improvements.
• Support related Structured Product projects.
• Ensure client-facing documents and product processes meet high standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong knowledge of FX markets and analysis.
• Experience in FX sales, advisory, and platform management.
• Full understanding of product lifecycle.
• Familiar with financial markets, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Some experience in project management and systems/process handling.
• Exposure to Structured Products is a plus.
• Good understanding of legal and regulatory matters.
• Fluent in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• CACS certified.
