Job Description - FX Trader

About the job FX Trader

Our client, a prominent proprietary trading firm, is looking to hire an FX Trader to join its growing Fixed-Income and FX Trading team in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and oversee high-frequency trading strategies in the FX market.
Analyze global macroeconomic trends and interest rates that influence Asian currency markets.
Identify and capitalize on trading opportunities in spot FX, forwards, and FX futures while effectively managing associated risks.
Collaborate with quantitative researchers to enhance pricing models and identify arbitrage opportunities.
Ensure seamless trade execution through automated systems and proprietary algorithms while adhering to regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

Proven track record of success and profitability in FX trading.
Deep understanding of FX markets and interest rate dynamics.
Strong risk management capabilities, particularly in volatile market environments.
Experience with algorithmic trading systems and quantitative risk management models.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey market insights and strategies effectively to both team members and management.
