Objectives of the Position

Part of the Global Procurement Center of Excellence. Leverage game theory to optimize procurement competitiveness in auctions and negotiations and enhance overall procurement strategies.

Main Tasks

• Serve as project lead for the application of game theory in high-volume awarding projects (direct and indirect materials).


• Apply scientific and analytical knowledge to develop innovative awarding concepts with the Global Procurement team.


• Lead cross-functional workshops to ensure comparability of suppliers and negotiation scenarios


• Develop advanced negotiation trainings to Global Procurement category teams.


• Drive the sustainable implementation of game theory within procurement, helping transform procurement into a strategic value driver.


• Coach the sales teams participating in auctions or advanced customer negotiations.


• Expand knowledge through scientific and practical exchanges with professors and external game theory experts.


• Collaborate with the AI and Analytics team to enhance preparation of awarding projects and strategies

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, (Applied) Mathematics, Computer Science or other related field.


• Preferably with a minimum of 8 years’ experience as project lead for game theoretic awarding projects and as moderator of cross-functional workshops.


• Strong strategic mindset and analytical skills, enabling you to quickly adapt to complex and challenging environments.


• Effectively conveys complex information to top management.
