General Manager

This position isresponsible for providing strategic leadership over end-to-end manufacturingoperations and full Profit and Loss accountability across plastic injectionmoulding, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), and assembly functions. The roleoversees the complete manufacturing lifecycle, including lead generation,customer qualification, technical evaluation, tooling transfer, materialsprocurement, mass production, quality assurance, and final packing anddelivery.

The General Manager is also accountable forupholding corporate governance, ensuring workplace safety, driving operationalefficiency, and fostering positive employee morale, while consistently meetingcustomer expectations in quality, delivery, and cost. In addition, the role isresponsible for scaling operations to support business growth across bothexisting and emerging market segments.

Responsibility:

1. StrategicLeadership & Corporate Growth

• Corporate Strategy: Translate high-level corporate objectives into actionable plant-level KPIs. Support the Managing Director to define the long-term operations roadmap, including facility upgrades, technology adoption, and automation.
• Expansion & Innovation: Drive the strategic transition and business expansion into Metal Injection Moulding (MIM) and Ceramic Injection Moulding (CIM) to diversify the service portfolio and meet evolving customer technical requirements.
• Financial Performance: Manage full manufacturing P&L, including budgeting for labour, materials, and overheads. Optimize Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) to ensure operational investments align with Group financial targets.

2. End-to-EndOperational Excellence

• Production Oversight: Direct all Plastic, LSR, MIM, and CIM moulding and assembly operations. Oversee capacity planning, materials procurement, production scheduling, factory floor management, employee management, maintenance, space utilization and equipment uptime.
• Technical Execution: Lead the technical lifecycle from mould design and tooling fabrication/transfer to tool servicing and the rigorous validation of trial samples.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of lean manufacturing to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve cost-competitiveness through systematic continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Commercial &Customer Lifecycle

• Commercial Management: Oversee the "front-end" lifecycle, including customer qualification, RFQ management, pricing strategy, and design finalization.
• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary operational partner for key accounts. Build trust through consistent performance, transparent operational reviews, and swift resolution of technical or delivery challenges.

4. Quality, Compliance& Governance

• Quality Management Systems (QMS): Maintain a robust QMS that ensures strict compliance with customer’s standards and specific quality metrics.
• Corporate Governance: Implement stringent internal controls and risk management frameworks. Ensure 100% compliance with Workplace Safety and Health, environmental regulations, and local statutory requirements.

5. Human Capital &Culture

• High-Performing Teams: Recruit, mentor, and develop a leadership pipeline. Set clear performance expectations and foster a high-accountability culture centered on ownership, and cross-site collaboration.

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management or a related discipline; an advanced degree or MBA would be an advantage

• At least 15 years of extensive business leadership experience in high-precision plastic injection moulding, metal injection moulding, and/or ceramic injection moulding.
• Proven track record in managing medium sized manufacturing operations in several countries within the region serving multiple customers
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs, improving quality, delivery, cost and safety metrics across sites.

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and cross-functional teams.
