General Manager

Company Overview

As a Japan-born eyewear retail brand, Zoff is accelerating its expansion across Southeast Asia, with Singapore positioned as a key strategic market. We are seeking a General Manager to lead the local business and deliver sustainable growth.

Job Responsibilities

Retail Business & Operations
- Overall P&L ownership for the Singapore business
- Drive sales growth, profitability improvement, and cost control
- Own budgeting and forecasting
- Manage finance operations in coordination with an external accounting firm(bookkeeping, monthly/year-end closing, etc.)

Strategy & Expansion
- Develop and execute merchandising (MD) and marketing strategies
- Lead store expansion strategy including site selection and lease negotiations(preferred)
- Manage relationships with developers/landlords and external partners

People Management
- Lead and develop the local team (stores and office)
- Drive hiring, performance management, and talent development

HQ Communication
- Communicate effectively with Japan HQ (in English and/or with support from an interpreter/assistant)
- Execute local strategies aligned with HQ direction

Initial Phase Expectations

In the initial phase, you will work closely with Japan HQ and leverage internal support functions to operate and scale the business. Over time, the role is expected to transition to more autonomous local decision-making and leadership.

Requirements

- Proven retail management experience(required)
- Experience managing 10+ stores with full P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of store operations and frontline execution
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance management
- Experience managing finance operations in coordination with an external accounting firm (bookkeeping, monthly/year-end closing, etc.)
- Experience developing merchandising (MD) and marketing strategies
- Lease negotiation experience is a plus
- Potential to take on multi-country management responsibilities in the future
