Harmony Pharma Lab is a specialized Chinese Proprietary Medicine and Supplement Laboratory based in Singapore, dedicated to developing and manufacturing Made‑in‑Singapore health products. The facility is equipped to produce a wide range of dosage forms including soft gel capsules, hard capsules, gummies, tablets, powders, and liquid formulations. Position Overview
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of thesupplement / Chinese proprietary medicine manufacturing facility, ensuringcompliance with regulatory standards, optimizing production efficiency, anddriving business growth. This role requires strong leadership, operationalexpertise, and a deep understanding of quality assurance in the health andwellness industry.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Lead and manage all factory operations including production, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets and efficiency goals.
Monitor KPIs and ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to PIC/S, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, ISO, and local regulatory requirements.
Oversee audits, inspections, and certification processes.
Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting.
Quality Assurance
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to uphold product safety, consistency, and efficacy.
Implement corrective actions for deviations and drive preventive measures.
Financial & Business Management
Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
Support strategic planning, forecasting, and reporting to senior management.
Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and market competitiveness.
Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop cross‑functional teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate training programs to enhance workforce skills and compliance awareness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in supplements, pharmaceuticals, or food production.
Strong knowledge of PIC/S, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and local regulatory frameworks.
Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
