General Manager

Job Description

As a General Manager, in cooperation with the head office, other regional branches and group companies, conducts the below things.

1.Formulate logistics business strategies in the Apac (AP) region and implement them based on the strategy.

2.Develop logistics business (warehouse, international transportation) in the AP region.

3.Establish E-Commerce service (EC site, order management, digital marketing, logistics) in the AP region.

4.Conduct M&A project (sourcing, project management, negotiation, due diligence, internal process) in the AP region.

5.Manage affiliated companies in the AP region which Mitsui has invested related to logistics business.

6.Build partnership with local companies in the AP region for making businesses.

7.Establish digitalization and automation service in logistics field (Logistics Robotics, Warehouse management systeme etc) in the AP region.

8.By understanding the state, role of the organization, and taking the initiative in concrete efforts toward its realization, should be a role model for those around you.

9.Regardless of the position, give appropriate advice to the people concerned as needed while looking around widely, and contribute to the development of organizational members.

10.Manage to the organization and contribute to the achievement of the business plan and appropriate counting management while paying attention to internal control and governance.

11. Provide training to the team.

Job Requirements

1.Experience and knowledge of (1)business development in logistics field (warehouse, international transportation), (2)logistics operation (warehouse, international transportation), (3)warehouse management system, (4)E-Commerce service, (5)M&A, (6)management of logistics company, (7)Communication with Japanese customers, (8)Accounting, (9) Management of department ,(10) Management of subsidary

2.Experience of working in Japanese company more than 20 years.

3.Had the skill of speaking and writing fluent English and Japanese. Has deep culture knowledge of Japan.

4.Draw out the potential of other division members and support their growth.

5.Have the skill of (1) Creating Proposal (Investigating the solutions that meet user requirements from cases around the world, proposing multiple candidate solutions, and propose the most suitable one from them, including the reasons for selection, cost, and delivery schedule.), (2) Planning (Selecting a solution that meets user requirements, confirming FIT & GAP, creating the plan including the realistic delivery date, cost by checking the organization of related vendors and users, and then formulate an implementation and maintenance plan.)

6. Fluent English and Japanese language (verbal and written communication for business usage)

7. Professional and broad knowledge of warehouse operation and supply chain optimization including digitalization and automation (WMS, Logistics Robotics)

8. Strong interpersonal skill of communication and negotiation between suppliers and users and other branch offices.

9. Knowledge in E-Commerce (site development, order management, fulfilment, last one mile)

10. Deep understanding of management of company (accounting, tax, human resource, dinancing, internal regulation)

12. Knowledge in M&A (valuation, negotiation, funding, investment structuring)
