Purpose

Lead and energize the APAC Local & Regional Development team in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. In this high-energy role, you will drive growth by designing short-lifecycle, high-impact local solutions and innovations. You will oversee project management, activation, gallery/library operations, business transformation, and best practice implementation—all focused on delivering quick-turnaround, creative outcomes that resonate deeply with local consumers and customers. This role reports directly to the APAC Creative Center Director.

Core Responsibilities

Gallery & Cross category L&R Development

• Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills by inspiring, developing, and empowering teams to achieve strategic goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.


• Collaborate with the APAC L&R Commercial Management team to develop and execute the regional strategic plan for L&R accounts, ensuring focus on L&R fragmentation and develop plans and strategy to answer these types of briefs 


• Lead the APAC Gallery & Business Transformation Team in providing direction, coordination, strategic guidance, and implementation of best practices. 


• Champion a mindset of speed and creativity—executing projects with fast turnaround and impactful results across categories.


• Facilitate efficient workload management, supporting brief segmentation guidelines and fostering the appropriate mindset across teams working together with Project managers in APAC.   


• Oversee professional development, including talent growth, experience building, and pipeline development. 


• Oversee the Gallery – a bank of winning consumer delights, in close partnership with the Gallery Manager, Smart Submission coordinators and Country Heads  ensuring content remains current, competitive, and relevant to regional market needs. 


• Promote cross-category collaboration and sharing of successful or emerging themes. 

Business Transformation & Best Practices

• Act as a connector between sub-regions— implementation of best practices across APAC, implementation of new ways of working to push innovation into others for strategic local success across the customer base.


• Partner with Category Directors, supported by the CCD, to train and engage the development community on global best practices, latest digital tools, and evolving processes related to external constraints (example regulatory) 


• Assess current regional performance against resource allocation guidelines and measure continuous improvement in team effectiveness and efficiency. 


• Actively participate in the global Gallery network to represent regional needs, leverage shared insights, and drive strategic global initiatives. 


• Serve as the primary contact for site or development process audits with project managers. 

Academic Background

• University Degree or equivalent; Advanced University degree in related field is a plus.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 15+ yrs of professional experience within the fragrance or related creative industries


• Minimum 2-3 yrs of successful team leadership experience
