ID:\n\nJR93909 Global Facilities Cost Program Manager\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nAs a Global Facilities Cost Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading expense data governance, analytics, and reporting initiatives across the global facilities network. \nYou will need to be actively engaged with Global and Site Facilities teams, Corporate Finance, Central Planning teams, and other cross-functional business partners to develop the Facilities cost data reporting capabilities and establish network solutions to ensure facilities cost data accuracy. \n\nThis role requires a strong data management background, and ability to translate complex data into concise summaries and dashboard. You should be detail-oriented, with the capability of providing clear and qualitative data analysis for higher management to support decision making. You should possess detailed understanding on cost expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and providing benchmarking. This role also requires flexibility and ability to maintain global relationships, excellent communication and presentation skills. \n\nMajor Job Responsibilities:\n\nExpense Governance and Program Management\n\n * Lead Global Facilities expense governance processes, including reporting cadence, controls, and compliance standards.\n * Lead monthly Expense P2P performance management by analyzing variances, highlighting key cost drivers, and driving issue resolution and corrective actions across the global facilities network.\n * Support the Quarterly Business Plan budgeting process by enabling informed prioritization and effective allocation of resources to critical business needs.\n * Coordinate cross-functional alignment with relevant stakeholders on expense data definitions, assumptions, target setting and reporting requirements.\n * Manage structured review processes and performance tracking mechanisms to support ongoing expense governance.\n * Identify cost trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and provide insights to leadership to support decision-making.\n\n\n\nExpense Data Analytics \u0026 Reporting\n\n * Ensure continuous accuracy of Global Facilities expense data through consolidation, variance analysis, and key cost\u2011driver identification.\n * Develop executive-level dashboards, scorecard and reporting materials to clearly communicate expense performance and risks.\n * Translate complex operation data into clear and actionable summaries to support leadership decisions.\n * Provide strategic decision\u2011support through scenario analysis, benefits assessment, and what\u2011if modeling to improve the accuracy of quarterly BP planning and forecasting.\n\n\n\nProcess, System and Continuous Improvement\n\n * Partner with Finance, Planning, IT, and System Owners to resolve data discrepancies and integration issues across expense management systems.\n * Maintain governance documentation, reporting standards and process/policy guideline to ensure consistency and audit readiness.\n * Support reporting automation, system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and data reliability.\n * Ensure ongoing integrity, traceability, and transparency of expense data across all reporting and planning platforms.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n * Strong thinking process, analytical and data management skills. \n * Strong ability to manage complex data. \n * Ability to be an effective team player. \n * Good understanding of Micron\u2019s Expenditures process (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model). \n * Familiarity and able to navigate cost information system applications such as SAP and SAC Analytics Cloud Planning (SAC-P). \n * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n * Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills. \n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n * Organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. \n * Demonstrate high level integrity in managing sensitive data. \n * Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect. \n * Able to develop long term working relationship and trust across the global Facilities network. \n * Adaptability to embrace Business Volatility. \n * Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. \n * A continuous improvement mindset that constantly seeks opportunities to do things more efficiently; works with stakeholders to improve relevant business processes. \n * Strong knowledge of SQL and enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to analyze and report complex financial data.\n\n\n\nEducation \u0026 Experience\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree and above specialized in Engineering, Information systems, Business, or Finance or equivalent experience. \n * 5+ years of experience in cost management and complex data analytics within enterprise environments; experience in semiconductor or other capital\u2011intensive industries is a plus.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProject/Program Manager P2 - Project/Program Manager P3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
