Job Description - Global Facilities Senior Program Manager (PMO)

ID:\n\nJR97123 Global Facilities Senior Program Manager (PMO)\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nDescription\n\nAs a Global Facilities Senior Program Manager, you will work closely with all the major functional organizations within Global Facilities, \u0026 with the world-wide site Facilities, FE Strategic Program (FE PMO) team and other major corporate organizations to drive systems projects/programs from initiation to completion. These projects/programs are critical to the success of Facilities and the overall network.\n\n * Lead and orchestrate cross\u2011functional program and portfolio execution by partnering with Global and Site Facilities, PMO, IT, system owners, and developers to design, standardize, and deploy global reports, enterprise programs, and scalable business processes for a geographically distributed, multicultural organization.\n\n * Establish and enforce PMO governance frameworks across projects, programs, and portfolios, including prioritization, intake, roadmap planning, dependency management, and change control\u2014while continuously re\u2011aligning execution priorities to evolving business needs and strategic direction.\n\n * Define, implement, and sustain enterprise performance management practices by partnering with metrics owners and systems teams to design, publish, and govern routine and ad\u2011hoc dashboards and reports that enable leadership visibility, data\u2011driven decision\u2011making, and portfolio health monitoring.\n\n * Drive accountability and continuous improvement through structured communication, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, executive\u2011ready status reporting, and disciplined use of metrics to measure outcomes, identify gaps, and ensure delivery against commitments.\n\n * Serve as the accountable owner for Global Facilities platforms and solutions (e.g., SharePoint, EDC, SQL servers, Microsoft Teams groups, web interfaces), ensuring disciplined system governance, lifecycle management, standardized operating models, and effective adoption through clear administrative controls and professional advisory support.\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\nThe successful candidate for this position will have:\n\n * Excellent skills for leading or facilitating multi-organizational teams to success on complex multidimensional projects/programs\n * Excellent communication skills to build teams comprised of key skills, to drive progress to plan and to get management support and buy-in for complex projects/programs\n * Strong teammate to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations and proven track record, interpersonal, and customer service skill to comfortably work across boundaries and geographies.\n * Professional, organized, meticulous, strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills. Able to independently complete tasks and adapt to constantly evolving environment.\n * 5 or more years of Facilities Semiconductor industry engineering experience will be preferred\n * Project/Program management experiences are preferable\n * Skilled in the creation and management of projects/programs (Power BI, Tableau reports, SharePoint Online, etc) and Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, Power Automate, PowerApps).\n * Working knowledge and drive quality programs such as MOC, FMEA, Calibration, GDMS, Error-Proofing, etc\n\n\n\n \nEducation\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering or equivalent\n\n\n\nWorkplace\n\n * Travel Required : Yes \u2013 Domestic and International travel as required by business needs\n * Environment : Office\n * Shift : Normal shift (8+ hour)\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nProject/Program Manager P3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
