Global IT Internal Controls Lead (Cyber/Infra/IT),Energy Trader

This is an exceptional career opportunity to step into a high-visibility, IT Internal Controls Lead role reporting directly to the Global CIO, where you will shape the strategic technology control framework, drive executive-level risk visibility, and serve as the single authoritative interface between IT, Internal Audit, and Risk across global trading hubs.

You will have the opportunity to:
design, establish, and elevate a single management view of IT internal controls and technology risk for the Global CIO and executive leadership. Acting as the sole outbound bridge between IT and external governance functions (Internal Audit and Internal Controls), you will consolidate operational performance, cyber risk insights, and audit remediation tracking into intuitive, executive-ready dashboards. Operating without the burden of day-to-day operational delivery or rigid 3rd-line audit duties, you will proactively translate complex cyber vulnerabilities-such as zero-day threats - and infrastructure controls into clear business impact, ensuring high-calibre technology assurance across a fast-paced global business network.

You will bring your experience of:
8-12 years of progressive experience in IT internal controls, technology risk, or IT governance/IT GRC, ideally gained within trading, banking, or highly regulated, fast-paced commercial environments. You possess sharp technical domain awareness spanning cybersecurity and infrastructure (including vulnerability management and threat concepts) combined with proven hands-on expertise building executive-facing IT control dashboards. A natural, persuasive communicator with outstanding executive presence, you excel at coordinating cross-functional teams, driving audit remediation, and influencing senior stakeholders without needing direct command authority.
