GP Clinic - Primary Care Physician / Anchor Doctor (Family Medicine)

One of the leading private healthcare providers in the region, providing comprehensive services from primary to tertiary care is now hiring for Anchor Doctor / Family Physician to manage the Primary Care, Family Medicine Clinic. This is a full-time on-site role located in Singapore.

Whole spectrum of family practice services from vaccinations for newborns to treatment of acute illness to management of chronic illnesses, minor surgeries and procedures for injuries and medical conditions for adults.
 

• Location: Serangoon / Buangkok / Hougang / Punggol / Jurong East / Boon Lay / Tampines / Bukit Batok / AMK / Marine Parade / Marina Bay
• Working hours to be discussed: 38 to 46hrs/week depending on location and commitment level from yourself
   
• Primary Care Consultations: Patients for a variety of health concerns, ranging from acute illnesses to chronic conditions. Conduct thorough assessments, medical histories, perform physical examinations, and provide diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Preventive Care: Emphasize preventive medicine by promoting healthy lifestyles, providing vaccinations, performing health screenings (such as for cancer, hypertension, diabetes), and offering advice on lifestyle modifications.
• Chronic Disease Management: Manage patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and arthritis. This involves ongoing monitoring, medication management, and coordinating care with specialists when needed.
• Minor Procedures: Perform minor procedures in the clinic, such as wound care management, suturing lacerations, removing skin lesions.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocating for patients' health needs and facilitating access to healthcare resources and support services in the community.
   

To excel in this role:

• MBBS &/OR GDFM (Preferred for GP Clinic) / MRCPCH (Paeds Clinic only) 
• GDFM / MMED not required for health screening clinic
• SMC Registered (Full)
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to manage patient care and promote overall health and wellness
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions based on patient information and data
