Job Description:
• Responsible for full set of accounts
• Responsible for Group consolidation and analysis on consolidated numbers
• Review Group and subsidiaries' financial statements to ensure compliance with prevailing corporate and statutory reporting requirements
• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing and preparation of financial and management reports
• Supervise Account Executives and oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department
• Prepare and submit GST and tax computations for the Group and its subsidiaries
• Prepare cash flow projection and ensure close monitoring of receivables collection
• Assist in the preparation of Group annual budget and forecast
• Liaise with bankers, corporate secretary, tax agents, internal and external auditors, and other consultants of the Group and subsidiaries
• Review and identify improvements in internal controls and procedures
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as and when necessary.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
• At least 3 years' relevant working experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
• Preferably with prior audit experience or commercial experience in the manufacturing or construction industry
• Proficient in MS Excel and preferably with experience in ERP system or accounting software
• Hands on, meticulous, strong analytical mind, and eye for details
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
