HAIR CONSULTANT

Responsibilities:

·        Consult with clients tounderstand their hair styling preferences, needs, and desired outcomes

·        Perform haircuts, trims, andstyling using various techniques suitable for different hair types and lengths

·        Execute hair coloringservices including highlights, ombre, balayage, and full color treatments

·        Provide shampooing, conditioning,and scalp treatments to maintain hair health

·        Create hairstyles forspecial occasions such as weddings, engagements, and formal events

·        Apply chemical treatmentsincluding perms, straightening, and keratin smoothing

·        Style hair using blowdryers, curling irons, flat irons, and other heat-styling tools

·        Recommend and sell hair careproducts and retail items to clients

·        Educate clients on properhair care, styling techniques, and home maintenance routines

·        Maintain clean and sanitizedworkstations, tools, and equipment according to health and safety regulations

·        Manage appointment schedulesand ensure timely service delivery

·        Process client payments andhandle transactions accurately

·        Collaborate with salon teammembers to ensure optimal client satisfaction

·        Attend staff meetings,training sessions, and professional development workshops

·        Build personal brand andmaintain professional appearance at all times

Requirements

·        Proficiency with scissors,clippers, razors, trimmers, and various haircutting tools

·        Knowledge of basic toadvanced hair cutting techniques

·        Understanding of haircoloring methods and chemical processes

·        Expertise with hot irons,curlers, and blow-dryers

·        Strong understanding ofdifferent hair types, textures, and treatments

·        Excellent interpersonal andcustomer service skills

·        Clear verbal communicationand active listening abilities

·        Physical stamina to standfor extended periods

·        Ability to work flexiblehours including evenings and weekends

·        Knowledge of health andsafety standards and sanitation procedures
