HAIR SALON SUPERVISOR

Job Description

• Daily Operations & Revenue: Oversee the daily operations of the hair salon. Ensure the salon meets or exceeds performance goals regarding revenue and operational costs.
• Staff Management: Train, hire, motivate, evaluate and direct the salon staff.
• Technical Quality Control: Monitor the technical standards of all hair services (cutting, coloring, styling and chemical treatments) to ensure safety and consistent premium quality.
• Customer Service & Scheduling: Maintain the client database, manage appointments efficiently, and handle client inquiries or complaints to provide the highest level of hospitality.
• Hygiene & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the absolute cleanliness and tidiness of all salon stations, washing areas, and colour bars. Oversee the proper functioning and safety of all professional hair tools and equipment.
• Salon Environment: Foster a trendy, professional and welcoming aesthetic environment to promote a relaxing and upscale experience for clients.
• Inventory & Supply Management: Place orders for salon consumables, chemicals and retail haircare products. Manage inventory control, reduce product waste and conduct interviews for new staff members.

Requirements

• Industry Experience: At least 5 years of proven relevant working experience in the hair salon industry, with a background as a senior stylist or team leader preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication and team management skills to drive a creative team.
• Trend & Product Awareness: Up-to-date with international and local hair trends, cutting/colouring techniques, scalp care advancements, and professional haircare products.
• Customer Service Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a track record of building strong client loyalty.
• Professional Appearance: A highly fashionable, well-groomed and professional appearance that aligns with the salon's brand image and style standards.
