Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily bakery production including breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all bakery products.
Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.
Supervise, train, and schedule bakery staff.
Monitor inventory levels and order baking ingredients and supplies.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Manage production planning to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
Work closely with management on menu planning and cost control.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Baker or Head Baker in a bakery, café, or restaurant.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Creative mindset for developing new bakery products.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
