Our client, a public listed MNC with a portfolio of businesses spanning from property, hospitality to retail across many countries in Asia Pacific has now opened a digital division and is currently seeking a Head of Business Analytics to be based in Singapore.
This role is an hybrid between business and data: ou will be responsible to take all the business decisions required for conducting business and transform them into requirements so as to plan for all the analysis to support the decision making. You will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer
Responsibilities
Design and operationalise the analysis and reports and train the respective teams to consume and use them to make decisions
Establish/train data analytics/science team and be involved in set up of data capturing.
Establish data warehouse and understand business needs to formulate data analysis.
Requirements
Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or relevant discipline
Hands on data pulling, data crunching experience
Good analytical skills and relevant experience as an analysis designer
Our ideal candidate should be able to translate data into useful dashboards or reports or analysis for operational consumption or strategic decision making
Ability to excel in a matrix, cross functional environment
Highly energetic and independent with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced start-up
Ability to lead and motivate team members to achieve goals
