Head of Business and Product Development

The Head of Business and Product Development is a key member of the leadership team that is responsible for driving the strategic growth, customer acquisition, and product innovation. This role will oversee the complete product design and development, client engagements, ecosystem partnerships, and platform enhancements to deliver scalable and sustainable financing solutions for SME customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers to deliver innovative and competitive financial solutions to SMEs in areas of cash management, lending, trade and supply chain financing, and working capital management.
• Partner with technology teams to deliver seamless customer experience and smooth customer journey.
• Monitor market for latest market trends and developments so to make necessary product adjustment.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and responsible lending standards.
• Monitor and manage product performance and give advisory to business teams to enhance revenue and market share.
• Direct marketing efforts and projects for market outreach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least 12 years of experience within banking or financial institutions, with a strong background in product development and market analytics. Preferably in Wholesale Banking or Fintech company.
• Strong track record in innovating financial products such as MSME lending, Supply Chain Financing, and transaction banking products.
• Possesses sharp analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
