Head of Compliance (Perm, Healthcare) - Hiring Urgently

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, Normal Office Hours

Salary: Up to $12,000 per month + AWS + VB

Job Description:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance framework and program for the company, in line with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership in promoting a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour across the company.
• Assess compliance risks and develop risk management strategies to mitigate and address identified risks.
• Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards and ensure that the company’s policies and practices are updated.
• Design and conduct compliance training programs for employees, educating them on their responsibilities and obligations.
• Establish and maintain effective compliance monitoring and auditing processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Investigate and respond to compliance breaches, taking appropriate actions and implementing corrective measures as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on compliance activities, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as Economics, Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance. A postgraduate qualification in compliance, risk management or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• Experience in a compliance or risk related leadership role. 
• Possess knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards applicable to the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management principles, and governance practices.
