Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Banking to lead the corporate banking division of a growing foreign wholesale bank's Singapore branch. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth, build client relationships with major corporate enterprises, and establish the bank's market position in Singapore's competitive corporate banking landscape.

Our client is a foreign wholesale bank with an expanding presence in Asia. The organization is building its corporate banking capabilities in Singapore and seeking a strategic leader to spearhead this growth initiative.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define and execute corporate banking strategy aligned with regional and global business objectives
2. Build and maintain relationships with top-tier corporate clients, including regional and large local enterprises
3. Drive new business opportunities across lending, trade finance, treasury, and structured products
4. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks
5. Lead, mentor, and develop teams of relationship managers to achieve performance targets
6. Enhance the bank's profile and competitive positioning in Singapore's corporate banking market

Required Qualifications

1. Proven track record in corporate banking leadership within Singapore or broader Asia
2. Strong expertise in lending, trade finance, treasury, and structured products
3. Deep understanding of Singapore's regulatory environment and corporate banking landscape
4. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-border client relationships
5. Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities
6. Background with Asian or international banks highly advantageous
