Head of Credit Trading

The Opportunity

You will own the development, market-making and risk management of the Asia credit trading franchise. The role carries full accountability for the desk's P&L and strategic direction, and offers genuine scope to extend the platform into selected Asian markets and grow the regional client franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and execution of the desk's business plan and own agreed revenue targets
• Drive product development, market-making and risk positioning across Asia credit and structured credit
• Manage trading risk in line with the broader Local Markets / FIC strategy and within all risk and regulatory limits
• Service sales flow and partner closely with Sales, wider Global Markets and enablement functions

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' Asia and emerging markets trading experience
• Proven track record of generating alpha from risk positioning
• Deep technical expertise across the FIC/credit product suite (cash credit, CDS, repacks, CLNs, TRS)
• Strong command of China corporate credit
• Solid understanding of the regulatory regimes applicable across relevant trading jurisdictions
• Relevant regional language skills an advantage
